Algebraic Formulation of Physical Fields

Algebraic Formulation of Physical Fields

(PDE free formulation)

The laws of physical fields are commonly expressed by differential equations.

Today it is possible to express them directly by algebraic equations,

starting from experimental laws,

thus bypassing the differential formulation.

The algebraic formulation of physical laws puts in evidence some features that are hidden in the differential formulation and gives rise to algebraic equations that can be used for computational physics: the numerical method obtained has been called “Cell Method.”

On these premises it is possible to start a research program:

A mathematical formulation of physical fields in algebraic form.
